So, we all know that a cake maker designs and creates a delicious and possibly decadent cake for you and your guests to admire, enjoy and EAT!
Your hair and make-up artist will come to your accommodation and make you feel perfect for your walk down the aisle and the entire celebrations, your photographer will be there to build a creative connection with you and produce a lifetime of digital memories of every important second of the day including all the seemingly small unnoticed candid moments.
But the celebrant??..... Let’s think for a moment about what many couples believe (I know this from some of the enquiries I receive) that the celebrant is there merely for 15 minutes to read a few words and pronounce you married at the end. Few know unless they have been on the receiving end the service of one of our amazing celebrants on the Sunshine Coast, just how much they can enhance your entire getting married experience!
Quite often the Celebrant is the first point of contact when you are making an initial enquiry about your wedding on the Sunshine Coast or Noosa. They will fulfil all the legal obligations of the getting married formalities for you, as well as suggesting amazing Sunshine Coast Wedding locations, recommending other suppliers and organising council permits (if required) for you.
Some (like me!) will even go as far as booking all the extras for you if you wish, especially if you are coming from interstate or want the simplicity of a one-stop shop so that all you need to think about is your dress and suit! Find out more about this here!
We are also there as an emotional support and sounding board throughout the time leading up to the day, always ready to assist and answer questions, really getting to know you both so the ceremony reflects the two of you and of course on the day, presenting a beautiful ceremony that is perfect for the two of you and ticks all the legal boxes to ensure you are legally married…just the way you are hoping for!
The Celebrant sets the entire tone for the rest of your celebrations, welcomes and chats to family and guests, helps the waiting groomsmen and bridal party to relax before you arrive, has second guessed any little issues that can be quickly fixed before you even notice, liaises with and frequently coordinates the other suppliers on-site on the day, communicates with you after the ceremony ensuring you know exactly where your certificate is and follows up afterwards to ensure you know when your marriage has been officially registered.
Without the care and support of your Celebrant it really would be just a very expensive party!
Thank you to:
