There is a general order of booking or organising the wedding suppliers you will need for your Noosa Wedding or Sunshine Coast Elopement so after having picked your all-important date to marry on the Sunshine Coast or elope to Noosa, number one on your ‘to-do’ list is to choose a marriage celebrant. Beside the Celebrant being the ONE thing that you cannot get married without, a great one is a mine of information having literally hundreds of the best local trusted suppliers as contacts for all the other items you will need.
Start by asking friends and and google to get a few ideas. Once you have narrowed down a few you like the sound of, thoroughly explore their websites, read their reviews on google and other platforms, call or email to make contact, see how quickly and warmly they respond and if you want to, see if you can setup a meeting or zoom call to get the feel if they are a good fit for your wedding vision. Sometimes to get your Celebrant of choice you may have to tweak your wedding date slightly as many of us are booked well in advance for weekends but mid-week dates are often available.
There are many different Celebrant personalities around; you want someone who will match what you are looking for and one who take all the wedding day stresses away and create a ceremony to be remembered…for all the right reasons!
Please do not go on budget alone, your Wedding is one of the most important days of your lives, and their experience in setting the tone for your entire day as well as dealing competently with very important legal practices cannot be underestimated. Undoubtedly the celebrant is one of the cheaper parts of your day - usually costing less than your dress, flowers, venue and photography, but is an area not to be compromised. The hours of work a celebrant devotes to making it all perfect for you will be evident in how the rest of your wedding day unfolds and you will not regret a cent of it!
